Spence & Lyda uses Australia Post
for all deliveries within Australia.
Orders are sent via registered parcel
post and generally take between 5 to 10 days from date of order, depending on
the destination. Standard flat rate
for shipping within NSW is
$12.00
(orders less than 5kg) Standard flat rate
for shipping Interstate is
$18.00
(orders less than 5kg) Bulky Items The above rates apply to
all orders under 5kg which fit within the Australia Post guidelines. Items over this weight
will be marked as a 'bulky item'
and will be charged according to the size & weight. Upon receiving your
order an S&L representative will contact you, to inform you of any additional
costs. Your order will not be processed until we have confirmed a total cost
price for you. Gift Vouchers: Shipping
charges do not apply to gift vouchers. Express Post Customers have the option of upgrading to Express Post at an additional cost. If
you require faster delivery or would like postal insurance, please make a note
in the ’Add Comments About Your Order’ box during the checkout process. One of
the S&L team members will then contact you to discuss options and additional
costs. Delivery
Deliveries are generally made Monday to Friday (Public Holidays excepted). If
there is no one home to receive the parcel, Australia Post will leave a note.
The parcel can then be picked up at the local Post Office during normal opening
hours. Please allow
approx 10 working days for delivery. International Orders If
your order is to be shipped to an overseas destination, please email us
for a quote. Delivery
Delays Spence & Lyda will make
every effort to dispatch each order as soon as payment is confirmed. The most
common causes of delivery delays are: ·
Waiting on payments to clear (particularly cheque payments); ·
Fixing errors in the order process, including incorrect delivery
addresses; ·
Delays caused by the postal service. If
goods have not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please e-mail us
or call on 02 9212 6747. Permission to Return
Goods and to Receive Credit Spence
& Lyda's main concern is customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with an item
please contact us with 48 hours of receipt of the item and a Spence and Lyda
representative will inform you of the return procedures. For
health reasons Spence and Lyda cannot accept returns on towel s or bedding
unless the product is faulty. Similarly returns will not be accepted for goods
harmed during use or incorrect care. A credit
note will be issued immediately totalling the value of the product only. We take
great care in the dispatch of our online goods but occasionally accidents do
happen. Once again contact us within 48 hours and one of our representatives
will arrange replacement. Should the item be out of stock; a credit note will be
issued including postage. If
